Macy's Shopping Haul

Lately, spring has been teasing us here in Birmingham. Right when I swear it's around the corner, we get a frigid day in the 30's. Ugh. It's tough being a fashionista in the Magic City! I needed (yes, needed) to indulge in some spring shopping to get my mind off of this crazy weather and focus on fashion for the warmer days ahead.

Thanks to Macy's and their #macyscampustour, I had the opportunity to check out the mstyle lab section. Unfortunately, there's not a physical mstyle lab in Birmingham, but their mobile app is a great alternative for finding inspiration.

I was compensated to write this post, but all opinions are 100% my own.

At first, I was overwhelmed by all of the awesome brands and designer collaborations. I'm seriously obsessed with the Material Girl and Rachel by Rachel Roy collections. They have so many fun, spring-ready pieces that I'm aching to wear, despite the frigid temps.

After nearly 2.5 hours of shopping (I'm thorough, okay?), I decided on two light sweaters and an awesome pair of heels. The great part about these pieces is that they can easily be dressed up or down. Stay tuned for how I will style them in the next few weeks.

For all of my fellow fashionistas out there who need a new spring wardrobe, or maybe just a little spring in their step, read on. During the month of March, Macy's will be hosting the Macy’s Spin and Win Contest where those logging into the Macy’s App on their phone will be able to spin a virtual spin wheel for a chance to win up to $500 in gift cards. All participants will automatically receive a 20% coupon.

SCORE!

To enter, just download the Macy's app from Google Play or the app store and click the Spin and Win Instant Win Game. The best part? You can play up to five times a day. Shop on, ladies!
