Fall (into Love)

Sweet like candy to my soul/ Sweet you rock and sweet you roll/ Lost for you/ I'm so lost for you

People always talk about summer love, touting that it's the best kind.
I respectfully disagree. There's something sweetly nostalgic of crunching leaves
underfoot and pumpkin spice lattes in hand. I don't know what it is
about this time of year, but snuggling in front of a crackling fire, time with friends,
and a solo trip to the farmer's market is much more appreciated.
Even spotting the first of changing trees with red and orange leaves is exciting.

Fall is a time of possibilities. When the leaves change, so does everything else.
I'm always going, going, going so lately I've been trying to lay low and catch my breath.
It's easy to get caught up in life's crazy moments, but once in awhile,
it's okay to grab a coffee, a book, and a blanket and head outside to just relax.
Hit the road and drive two hours in any direction for no reason at all.
I did it this weekend, and I have to say, it was time well-spent.
